AngularConnect Scholarship Fund
We know that not everyone who would like to attend AngularConnect will have access to the funds to buy a ticket, so we are bringing back our Scholarship Fund for 2016. This scheme aims to support individuals to have access to brilliant content and networking opportunities, where they otherwise would not have been able to attend the conference.
Who should apply?
Anyone from an underrepresented group in tech or those facing economic and social hardship is invited to apply. We’ll be awarding tickets to people who can show how the knowledge they gain at the conference will be useful to them in their ongoing career.
How does it work?
We have a limited number of free tickets available. Please complete this form to apply for a free ticket. Applications will be assessed by the organisers and successful applicants will be notified by email within three weeks of the application closing date.
Successful applicants will receive access to all content across both days, food, drink and all the extras. In some cases, we are able to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
Free tickets can only be given in a limited number, are non-transferable and the organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.
As an added bonus, we are borrowing this brilliant idea from RubyConf (thanks RubyConf!) and pairing any scholars who want one with a guide. A guide is an experienced member of the community and will be a friendly face at the conference, there to help make sure you get the best out of your conference experience and to introduce you to other people at the event.
